To forward your email
Note: Forwarding email is only permitted to internal contacts (@tridenttransport.com), if an external email is added you will receive a message back that states the message was not delivered.
- Go to outlook.com (The website, not the application)
- Once you are in outlook on the web, at the top right of the screen you will see a cog.
- When the Settings window opens, 1) make sure you have “Mail” selected on the left hand side, then 2) choose the Forwarding option to the right

- You will see the option to Enable forwarding, click that toggle

Once enabled, you will see a text box pop up that allows you to put in the email address of who you wish to forward your emails to. Type their address in this box
**IMPORTANT** Make sure to click the checkbox next to “Keep a copy of forwarded messages” so that you also receive the emails - Once completed, hit Save at the bottom
Email Forwarding (Disabling)
- To disable forwarding, follow steps 1-4 above to get back to the toggle.
- Make sure the toggle is turned off, then hit Save at the bottom of the page
Automatic Replies
- On the left side of that same window, right under the Forwarding option, click on Automatic Replies
- Once you click that, you will be met with this screen:
- Toggle ON the automatic replies
- **OPTIONAL: This is where you can set the automatic replies to only be sent during a certain time period, this is not required but it will make it automatically turn OFF once you return
- Type the message you would like others to receive in this empty text box, and then Copy/Paste that message into the bottom text box as well
- ***CRITICAL: Turn on the "Send Replies Outside your Organization" option so that everyone gets the automatic reply instead of just coworker
- Hit "Save" at the bottom, and your Automatic Replies have been set
