E-mail messages may be quarantined for reasons such as the sender’s e-mail address is spoofed (faked), the content of the messages indicates a very high likelihood that the message is spam or that the message contains links or attachments that indicate that the message may be a phishing (identity theft) scam or contain malware or ransomware.
If you have messages that have been quarantined, you will receive a daily digest e-mail showing you a preview of those messages, similar to the one shown below.
You can always review your quarantined messages at https://security.microsoft.com/quarantine. You may want to get into the habit of checking this site regularly especially if you think you should have received something by e-mail and have not. The following screen shows what your quarantine view will look like. You can review quarantined messages and request to have messages that you think you may need released directly from this page.
The quarantine is simply another layer of protection to help Trident maintain a safe and secure workplace. As with anything, if you have questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to let anyone on the IT team know and we will be happy to help in any way that we can.
